Invited Lecture at the University of Primorska Doctoral Seminar

Špela Ledinek Lozej and Nataša Rogelja Caf were key-note speakers at the T4EU BOOTCAMP, organized by Neža Čebron Lipovec from the Critical Heritage LAB at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Primorska. The Critical Heritage LAB, initiated by Vytautas Magnus University, is a collaborative project within some Transform4Europe Alliance partners, such as the Estonian Academy of Arts, the University of Trieste (Italy), the University of Primorska (Slovenia), and Jean Monnet University (France). The three-day bootcamp, entitled Heritage and the Anthropocene – Foreseeing Futures, was dedicated to the spatial and temporal dimension of heritage and Anthropocene as well as how they challenge and trouble the categories of ‘human’, ‘non-human’ and ‘other-than-human’.

In their lecture, Experiencing Interpretative Methods, Špela Ledinek Lozej and Nataša Rogelja Caf outlined interpretive research methods in the humanities and social sciences and presented walking methodologies and their experiences with walking seminars.

The lecture was followed by a workshop conducted together with Neža Čebron Lipovec, during which the students took part in a silent walk through Koper, reflecting on and documenting heritage.
