Opening of the exhibition “Walking, Seeing, Hearing Infrastructure” at University College London (UCL)
On Monday 10 February 2025, UCL’s Institute of Advanced Studies hosted an event to launch the exhibition “Walking, Seeing, Hearing Infrastructure”. The exhibition was introduced by short lectures by two members of the Heritage on the Margins research program, Nataša Rogelja Caf (project leader of the project “Biographies of Istrian Routes: Walking and Writing as Methods of Researching Border Spaces”, within which the event was organized) and Martina Bofulin (ISIM, ZRC SAZU), and colleagues Igor Rogelja (UCL) and Manca Bajec (Goldsmiths, University of London). The event also included the screening of two video essays, produced in collaboration with Nataša Rogelja Caf ISIM ZRC SAZU), Špela Ledinek Lozej (ISN ZRC SAZU) and Živa Caf. The photographs on display are the work of graphic designer Ajda Schmidt and the exhibition was curated by Manca Bajec and Igor Rogelja.
After the successful opening of the exhibition “Walking, Seeing, Hearing Infrastructure” at University College London, Nataša Rogelja Caf and Martina Bofulin (both ISIM ZRC SAZU), together with Igor Rogelja from UCL and Manca Bajec from Goldsmiths, University of London, presented the project “Biographies of Istria’s Routes” and a seminar on Istria’s infrastructures. The presentation, which took place in the Goldsmiths University cinema, was followed by a screening of video essays by Nataša Rogelja Caf, Špela Ledinek Lozej (ISN ZRC SAZU) and Živa Caf.
